The Aluminium Pastes. Generalities and applications.

With the aluminium pastes are obtained coating paints with a great covering power, getting better covering that when is used any other type of traditional pigments.

The lamellar form of the flakes of aluminium create on the surface to paint a metallic barricade which produce a hermetic sealed, getting with it, a great resistance to the humidity.

The high reflexion to the ligh that is obtained, in the surface painted with pigment of aluminium paste, produce a sun rays rejection, obtaining with it, a reduction of the temperature due to the sun heat.

The surface painted with pigment of aluminium pastes, support high temperature, until 600º C without lousing of color or brillance. This characteristic do the aluminium pastes as very appropiate for applications to a machinary or apparatus which are working to high temperature.

The paints produced with a pigment of aluminium pastes may be applied on iron or other type of metal, wood, leather, weave, plastic or paper.

In combination with bituminous varnishes, the aluminium pastes produce an excellent waterproof for roofs; and in the nearest areas to the sea, where the atmosphere is agresive due to saline environment the surfaces painted with pigment of aluminium pastes obtain better result to other applications made with other type of pigment.

In the handling or storing of the aluminium pastes must observ the precautions stated in the safety data sheet of this type of material.
